Associate Litigation Attorney
This is a full-time hybrid position; candidates must be reliable and able to commute to Lombard, Illinois.
Position Overview:
Participates as a team member and assists legal teams in litigation matters by playing a key role in the work required to support the firm’s clients and mission. This hands-on position provides support as an integral part of strategizing case file and process management through all stages of litigation. Manages and utilizes litigation support tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Protect consumers!
- Issues and responds to discovery requests
- Drafts motions and notices to be filed at lead counsel’s direction.
- Prepares for depositions, hearings and trials.
- Compiles, reviews and analyzes documents as required specific to case issues and determines necessary information.
- Performs research (factual, legal, internet, and other) to identify issues and relevant matters; prepare compilation of findings.
- Assists with the preparation of court filings including, but not limited to, cite and fact checking legal briefs and assembling of exhibits and appendices.
- Understands the mechanics of e-filing and e-files with courts and agencies as needed.
- Communicates, corresponds and interacts with clients and outside entities, such as, government entities, expert witnesses, vendors, corporations and other law firms to gather information or data.
- Serves as a factual resource on cases and demonstrates knowledge of case documents.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:
Juris Doctor Degree and a valid license to practice law. The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the litigation process and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The position will have significant collaboration with lawyers and paralegals and requires excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Average Salary Range
Starting at $85,000.00 per year.
